Learn the foundations of stone setting and silversmithing in this two night class as you create your own one of a kind cabochon ring. Stone setting is an important part of your skill set and bezel setting is the best technique to learn first. Leave class with a new ring your friends will definitely ask you about and the skills to measure, prepare, and set cabochon stones.

Prerequisite: metalsmithing skills including silver soldering and sawing are highly recommended to finish your piece in the time available. Previous enrollment in Stacker Rings, Band Ring, Welcome to Jewelry, or equivalent experience provides a great base of skill to complete this project but not required.

A selection of stones will be available during class. From minimal to extra decorative designs, your creativity will be your guide!

All materials and tools are included. Rings will be constructed in sterling silver using natural polished stones.
