Do I need experience to take a jewelry making class?
No. The Introduction to Jewelry & Metalsmithing class is designed for complete beginners. Our other workshops are also beginner-friendly unless the class page says otherwise.

How many students are in each class?
Classes are limited to fewer than 6 students so you get one-on-one attention.

How much do jewelry classes cost in Portland?
Our classes range from $195 for single workshops to $525 for the 5-session beginner course. Current class prices are

Where is the studio, and is there parking?
We're in the South Tabor neighborhood of Southeast Portland at 2631 SE 81st Ave. Building access information is given after registration. Street parking is plentiful. The studio is easily accessible by bus and is one block from the TriMet SE Division at 82nd stop and one block from the Trimet SE 82nd at Clinton stop.

What do I need to bring?
Nothing. All tools and materials included. If you wear reading glasses, please bring them. Closed toed shoes are always required.

Can I take a class with a friend, for a date night, or for a birthday?
Group private bookings are available here. Ring making classes are a favorite for birthdays, dates, and wedding groups.

Can I create my own wedding jewelry in a class?
Yes! You can learn more and sign up for a private couple’s session to create ceremonial bands for engagements or weddings.

What's your cancellation policy?
Class enrollment is confirmed using a valid credit card. The card number is held and charges are processed when the course meets enrollment minimum. Typically no later than 3-7 business days prior to the start of class.

No-shows are ineligible for refunds or makeup classes and must enroll in a new class time to participate.

All classes are subject to reschedule or cancellation if enrollment numbers are not met. Class fees are based on a threshold number of students in attendance and I do not offer private instruction for the price of a group class. If minimum enrollment is not met or class is canceled for unplanned instructor absence, registrants will be notified no less than 24 hours prior to class start. Enrolled participants will be offered priority registration for a new class time. If a class is canceled due to low enrollment and you want to have a 1:1 session with the same course content at an increased rate, contact Lindsey directly.

14 Business Days Prior to Class: Cancellations with refund requests must be submitted to hello@customdeluxestudio.com 14 business days or prior to the class start date for the registration fee to be refunded less a processing charge. This refund goes to the original method of payment. Students can also opt for the full value of the class to be issued as a credit that can be put toward a future class.

Less than 14 Business Days Prior to Class: Cancellations are accepted but are not eligible for a refund. The registered seat(s) will be opened up for a new registrant immediately at cancellation.

No-shows are ineligible for any refund or class credit.
