Studio Expectations
Classes are open to adults ages 18+.
Custom Deluxe is open by appointment only for classes and private lessons.
Students get the benefits of working in Lindsey’s full time jewelry studio where she runs her business. The space is filled with professional tools that she has invested in for nearly 20 years and she is excited to share the ins and outs of working with each one that is most relevant for class projects.
This is a collaborative educational space that is made possible when all students follow the safety and organization guidelines set at the start of class.
Students are expected to follow guidelines for proper attire that are provided over email prior to class. Eye protection is made available during class and is required when operating equipment and soldering
Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Billing
Class enrollment is confirmed using a valid credit card. The card number is held and charges are processed when the course meets enrollment minimum. Typically no later than 3-7 business days prior to the start of class.
Classes begin promptly at the listed start time.
No-shows are ineligible for refunds or makeup classes and must enroll in a new class time to participate.
All classes are subject to reschedule or cancellation if enrollment numbers are not met. Class fees are based on a threshold number of students in attendance and I do not offer private instruction for the price of a group class. If minimum enrollment is not met or class is canceled for unplanned instructor absence, registrants will be notified no less than 24 hours prior to class start. Enrolled participants will be offered priority registration for a new class time. If a class is canceled due to low enrollment and you want to have a 1:1 session with the same course content at an increased rate, contact Lindsey directly.
7 Days Prior to Class: Cancellations with refund requests must be submitted to hello@customdeluxestudio.com 7 business days prior to the class start date for the registration fee to be refunded less a 10 percent processing charge. This refund goes to the original method of payment. Students can also opt for the full value of the class to be issued as a credit that can be put toward a future class.
Within 7 Days of Class: If a cancellation and refund is requested less than 7 business days prior to class start date, a refund of 50% will be returned to the original form of payment. All Refund requests must be submitted to hello@customdeluxestudio.com 24 hours prior to the class start. Day-of cancellations will be considered a no-show and ineligible for any refund.
I understand things can happen, but I am unable to recoup the expense of empty spaces in class and unable to refund or reschedule in the event of a personal emergency, illness, or change of heart about attending.
Class sizes are small and late cancellations greatly impact my ability to continue to offer quality courses. Fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable on and after the program’s start date. I cannot refund fees requested on or after the start date of a program or for sessions missed due to student illness or other personal situations.
Private Lessons: There are no refunds for private lesson enrollment. Private lessons are subject to the availability of student and instructor and can be rescheduled as such. Charges for group private classes can be split into 2 separate payments with an initial deposit to secure a date/time and a final payment due before class session both are subject to a payment processing fee of ~5.5%. Full payments most post before the class date.
Series Classes: Registration fees for courses grouped and priced as a series will be considered one program and subject to all of the above guidelines. The refund requests deadline is based on the first session of the multi-meeting course.
