One Night Workshop

Make a personalized set of stackable rings as you get better acquainted with metalsmithing and jewelry-making techniques. Students of all levels will learn to cut, size, saw, form, and finish their own rings and leave with something great to wear or give as a handmade gift.

6-Weeks, once weekly meetings

Learn the principles to design and create jewelry in silver, copper, and brass during this 6-week introductory course. Based on a longer intro to jewelry course and condensed into 6 sessions, you’ll get to experiment and try out tons of tools and techniques to start your journey in metal.

Learn how to make a true classic piece of jewelry that you can adapt with your signature style. Get introduced to the fine points of working with sterling silver sheet metal while practicing to become a soldering and finishing pro.

Learn the basics of bezel setting flat backed, faceted stones.

Bezel Set Ring

2 night workshop

Build a one of a kind ring and construct a handmade setting from scratch in sterling silver in this favorite course. A beginner/intermediate class. Beginner skills of sawing, filing, and soldering are helpful to finish then project during class time.

Flush Setting 101

One night workshop

Start your journey of flush setting in this technique driven class. Create your own flush setting tool and leave with the know-how to add sparkle to your designs.

Pulse Arc Welding 101

One night workshop

With support from the Regional Arts and Culture Council’s Make|Learn|Build Grant we are home to a tool you have to try!The pulse arc welder is a game changer for any jewelry artist. Watch live demonstrations and work on your welding technique as you seamlessly close jump rings, repair chain. and more.

Join Lindsey inside the production studio to learn the foundations of metalsmithing and have fun creating one of a kind pieces. Each student is given a set of their own hand tools during class and has access to sanitizer before using communal tools to ensure we all stay safe.
